Methodology
- Stories. We read the trade press, pick the stories that matter to owners, charterers and brokers, and write our own short summary. The headline always links to the publisher that reported it.
- Publish time. Every edition shows when it actually went out, in UTC, with other time zones alongside. We don’t claim a time we didn’t meet.
- Container rates. Freightos Baltic Index (FBX) only, credited to Freightos, with a link to terminal.freightos.com. We draw our own chart from the published index.
- Equities. Delayed charts from TradingView. Nothing here is investment advice (see the terms of use).
- Tycoons of the Sea. Each chapter is fact-checked by the desk before it is published and lists its sources.
- Advertising. Placements are labelled as paid and sponsors never see or shape editorial copy (see Advertise).
